A successful Grower-Buyer Meet-Up event will lead to sales relationships. It facilitates knowledge exchange and understanding between growers and buyers as to the business and communication needs on both sides to help build successful long-term relationships. All parties should be prepared for and open to discussions.

How do I Prepare?
GROWERS: Create a display that reflects the quality of your product – attractive and informative. Bring informational resources that buyers can take with them: multiple copies of business cards, price sheets with projected availability, brochure/fact sheet, photos and product samples are great additions.
BUYERS: Consider bringing price sheets, product needs lists, business cards and other resources that can help guide conversations. Please inform us of your food safety regulations to better prep local grower.

How Does this Work?
- Growers and Buyers register on-line using the button above.
- Each grower will meet face-to-face with each buyer for 8-10 minutes.
- Growers stationed at tables will share product list, photos, certifications, and samples.
- Buyers will move from table to table and share requirements for volume, insurance, delivery terms, Food Safety, and specific product needs.
- Growers and Buyers, optimally, will establish future meetings or procurement dates.
Is there a Grower-Buyer Registration Fee to Participate?
- Registration for the Grower-Buyer Meet-Up is FREE.
How do I Register? When is the Registration Deadline?
- Complete and submit the Grower-Buyer Meet-Up Registration Form via the button at the top of this page by September 18, 2019. Coordinators will set up meetings between growers and buyers based on responses to ensure a good fit, so register today!
Do I need to be Registered for AG2019 to Participate in the Grower-Buyer Meet-Up?
- Grower-Buyer Meet-Up participants do not need to register for AG2019.
- We do encourage you to participate in AG2019 and are pleased to offer $25 off your AG2019 Conference Registration. Apply your discount to early bird prices and SAVE. Register for the Grower-Buyer Meet-Up by July 15 to secure your code for additional conference savings. AG2019 Conference Registration opens June 3, 2019. Early Bird Registration runs through August 31, 2019.
How do I Prepare?
- Prepare talking points: At the event, consider discussing specific challenges to production and sourcing (e.g. insurance, certifications, travel distance, volume) and brainstorming possible solutions to increase flexibility on both sides of the relationship.
