The Agricultural Leadership Foundation of Hawai‘i (ALFH) is proud to host the Hawai‘i Agriculture Conference. The most recent conference, AG2019, brought together over 650 participants that represented a diverse group of agricultural stakeholders. The conference planning team developed the theme, AGdaptation: Hawai‘i’s Growing Opportunity, because they recognized the need for Hawai‘i agriculture to adapt to become a viable, sustainable resource that provides rewarding career opportunities, enriches lifestyles and stewards our ʻāina for future generations.
In 2020, COVID-19 shifted the world as we knew it and impacted almost every aspect of our way of life in Hawai‘i. While the pandemic has caused challenges, it has also created new opportunities for forward thinking and acting that can move the agriculture industry in a more sustainable direction long-term. Now is the time to continue building our networks so that we can work together for positive change. ALFH looks forward to offering the industry the chance to do that during the next Hawai‘i Agriculture Conference.
